Mrs. Lana Noone of S. Kilburn Road recently exhibited the Vietnam Babylift Quilt at the Long Island Children's Museum, Garden City, and also presented her "Remembering The Vietnam Babylift 30 Years Later (1975-2005)" Program at Dowling College, Oakdale, New York.

At the Long Island Children's Museum, she performed a Vietnamese lullaby and a 1,000-year-old Korean folk song, and enthralled the children with her hands-on Babylift artifacts, photo exhibit and the story of how she became a "Global Mom" (Gateway Press, 2003).

Mrs. Noone also previewed her upcoming children's book, titled "When Jennie and Jason Came Home...and all the wonderful things that happened", the first children's book to tell the story of 30 years in the life of a global adoptive family.

The children were delighted by this multi-media event, presented in the Children Museum's theatre from 11:00 AM-3:00 PM on November 2nd.

Mrs. Noone's Dowling College program recalled her "involvement in this historic 20th century event", and was presented as part of Dowling's yearlong "Celebration of Asian Cultures".
