The Joy Of Giving

Christ Episcopal Church in Garden City held its annual Harvest Fair on Saturday, November 6, offering delight to old and young. When Mrs. Elena Leiter of Garden City entered her sweepstakes ticket, she had no idea she would be a winner. When she won the top prize of several hundred dollars in cash she promptly donated a portion to the Christ Church Youth Group’s adopted orphan, sponsored through the Christian Children’s Fund. Mrs. Leiter learned about the orphan through her child’s school, Garden Manor Nursery School. Thanks to Mrs. Leiter’s participation and generosity, everyone is a winner.
