Magic Beyond Imagination with Garden City native, Magic Bob McEntee is a one-hour show is appropriate for children age 4 through Grade 5. It is to be performed on Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at 11 A.M.at the Garden City Public Library. Tickets have been distributed all week. Check with the Children's Department as to space availability for this exciting holiday vacation show.

At 11 A.M. on Thursday, December 30th the Children's Room will be showing the film, The Three Musketeers for the entire family. This 68 minute film of the classic story is the Disney version with Mickey Mouse in character. It is G-rated. Refreshments will be served. No tickets or registration necessary for this event.

New! The Children's Department will be holding a Winter Reading Club - Join the IditaREAD! Registration and the club will begin on January 17th and conclude February 5th. This activity and all the storytimes, book discussions, special programs schedules for both preschool and school-age children are listed on the new flyers available in the Children's Room. Registration for the Winter/Spring Season is scheduled to begin on January 3, 2005. As for the Fall sessions, you may register online at www.nassaulibrary.org/gardenc/ or in person in the Children's Room. The storytimes will begin on January18th.
