Explore The Hermitage

The Hermitage is one of the world’s greatest museums and you have the opportunity to actually explore this treasure when Adult Education travels to St. Petersburg in June.

The Hermitage occupies six magnificent buildings situated along the embankment of the River Neva, right in the heart of St. Petersburg. It has taken over two and a half centuries to assemble the collections of works of art that span the development of world culture and art from the Stone Age to the 20th Century.

In fact, it could reasonably be argued that the Hermitage has captured the essence of world culture as represented by the more than 3,000,000 precious items in its collection.

Imagine exploring in person the World of Faberge! Then, be sure not to miss the fabulous Peter the Great Collection.

In addition, you will be up close and personal with the works of the world’s great masters, including Rembrandt, Monet, Michelangelo, DaVinci, Renoir, Reubens, Van Dyck and Picasso to name just a few of the many, many great artists. And, you will see entire worlds of Russian icons and Asian art.

The Hermitage will be only one of several world-class museums and palaces that you will be visiting. How can you stay home and miss all of this?

Adult Education is going for 14 days, from June 10 to June 25. The price is $2,997, which is an unbelievable bargain since it includes everything (even a six-day river cruise between Moscow and St. Petersburg). For more information, call Adult Ed at 478-1070.
