A Step Back In Time

Matthew Caroll and Paige Willis took on Mrs. Goldner in checkers.

Matthew Caroll and Paige Willis took on Mrs. Goldner in checkers. Mrs. Goldner’s kindergarten class recently visited the Sands Willets House. The trip included a tour of the house, which was first built in 1735. The children got a chance to make apple pie in the original kitchen. They also made a “paper” quilt. They were told many facts about life in the 18th Century and played with games and toys from long ago.
