On Sunday, October 17th, ladies from the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Garden City once again participated in the walk at Jones Beach to help raise funds for breast cancer research. This was their third year participating in the event. Family, friends and people from the congregation sponsored the group. They were able to raise a considerable amount of money.
