Seventh and eighth graders assist in food preparation. The seventh and eighth grade students from St. Joseph school enjoyed an afternoon of Cultural and ethnic presentations during a recent field trip to A La Carte Culinary Services in Lynbrook. Under the supervision of Spanish teacher Xochitl Di Constanzo; the boys and girls took part in a cooking seminar which highlighted favorite Mexican and Spanish dishes. The students then had an opportunity to sample the end results of their culinary experience and take part in an authentic cultural feast. Many Thanks to Mrs. D for arranging this funfilled afternoon for the kids.
