This Sunday, December 5, the Adult Forum at the Garden City Community Church will present Suzanne Garrison-Terry speaking on “Matristics.” She will discuss our church mothers, giving histories, timelines and biographies.

Ms. Garrison-Terry has been a lay speaker/preacher since 1981. She is a librarian/assistant professor at Dowling College and the fiction editor for Metapsychology Book Reviews.

The forum is held in the church parlor at 9:15 a.m. and the community is welcome to attend.

Garden City Community Church is part of the United Church of Christ. Worship services are Sundays at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., with church school for children and a crib room for infants and toddlers at the later service.
