Thunder Players, Timothy Halaby,Richie Mattone and Ryan Guarino, joined by James Halaby,Ian Guarino, Kiera Guarino and their parents grabbed their Holiday Bags filled with Turkey dinners, and set off bringing food and cheer to the needy. The recipients are elderly and disabled people who are unable to leave their homes and have no close relatives with whom to share this special day. The Mattone family visited Great Neck and the Halaby and Guarino family visited Long Beach. All the parents said it was a pleasure assisting our local citizens, and offering the children an opportunity to experience the true meaning of Thanksgiving.
