Garden City Freedom Girls u11 team continued to role through its fall schedule with a win over the Syosset Shockers. The girls withstood strong winds and cold weather to beat Syosset 2-0. Jessie Gunther earned the shut out in goal with 8 saves. Cara Durand, Olivia Chessman and Kristi Pelizzoli were able to control the play in front of our goal. Midfielders Courtney Basel, Katherine Kiley, Olivia Giordano and Liz Stutzmann held their own during the physical play continually transitioning the ball up field. Many players contributed on offense Gabby Barcklow and Gabby Zafante both contributed goals.
