Facing their toughest opponent to date, the GC Maroon 10’s lost to the undefeated and unscored upon Hempstead Tiger Cubs (24-0). In a penalty filled game, the GC boys played with heart and they should be proud of themselves. The team has the right ingredients for success; commitment, hard work, responsibility, discipline and dedication.
Every GC player is a valuable member of the team. The Maroon 10’s roster consists of the following players: Eugene Berkery, Patric Berkery, Anthony Cascione, Michael Comiskey, Timothy Coogan, Brendan Cullen, Brian Defliese, John Derdak, Franklin Dickinson, Christopher Diglio, Scott Ernenwein, John Fallon, Timothy Fitzgerald, John Gentile, Keith Hoge, Liam Kennedy, Matthew Masullo, P.J. McGovern, Austin Menger, Christian Morreale, Danny Muller, Patrick Niebler, Brendan Orr, Mattingly Packman, Matthew Schmelzinger, Patrick Tully, Oliver Weber and John Wein.

The team ended the 2004 regular season with a record of 6-2-0 under the skilled direction of head coach John Ernenwein and his assistant coaches Gene Berkery, Charlie Comiskey, Bob Defliese and Larry Schmelzinger.
The GC team has earned a second straight run to the NCYFL Playoffs. The #3 ranked GC Maroon 10’s will go up against the #2 ranked Inwood Buccaneers.
