Student Council Holds Induction Ceremony
Student council officers Edward Tigh, Drew McAward, Maryann Gallucci and Michael Gamber participate in the candle lighting ceremony.
On October 5th new members of the St. Joseph School Student Council were installed following a prayer service organized by the fifth grade. Principal Pat Devine administered the oath of office and the executive members of the council took part in a candle lighting ceremony.
Student Council members for the 2004-2005 academic year include: President Michael Gamber, Vice President Maryann Gallucci, Secretary Drew McAward and Treasurer Edward Tigh. Also installed at this ceremony were class representatives and alternates from each grade. The Student Council has started to organize community service projects for this year. Presently a book collection is underway to benefit the pediatric emergency room at Mercy Hospital.
