on nov. 6, PO Schichtel arrested a 50-year-old Williston Park woman who allegedly stole $377.97 in merchandise, mainly jackets, shirts and boots, at Sears.... on nov. 5, PO Matos answered a call for a grand larceny at the NY Sports Clubs on Franklin Ave. A $5,000 Tourneau watch and $500 in U.S. currency was taken from a locker there.... between oct. 10 and Nov. 6, someone took a $15,000 diamond bracelet from a Fourth Street residence.... po hickey arrested a 22-year-old Garden City man for alleged DWI (.19%) at Stewart Ave/Franklin Ave. on Nov. 6.... between Nov. 2 and 6, someone damaged a Jeep Grand Cherokee parked in Field 6E. There was $4500 in damage.... between Nov. 5 and 6, another car, this time a green MiniCooper, was found damaged in the same parking lot. There was $2,000 in damage.... on nov. 8, PO Fracassa responded to a call for petit larceny at Sears. Two men had fled the store with over $399 in assorted clothing. On Nov. 7, PO Oswald arrested a 43-year-old Glen Cove man for alleged DWI (.13%) at Clinton Rd./Old Country Rd.... also on nov. 7, PO Jacobsen arrested a 21-year-old Merrick man for alleged DWI (.14%) at Stewart Ave./Clinton Rd.... on nov. 8, PO Jacobsen also arrested a 30-year-old Richmond Hill woman for alleged shoplifting (petit larceny) and for the possession of burglar tools at Lord and Taylor.... on oct. 20, PO Madden arrested a 43-year-old Valley Stream man for allegedly stealing 2 Coach handbags valued at $496. The man was allegedly also in possession of burglar’s tools.... on nov. 5, 11 trucks were inspected, with 100 tickets issued and 3 trucks taken out of service.... on nov. 4, PO Hickey arrested a 63-year-old Bay Shore woman for endangering the welfare of a child, after the woman, who was employed as a nanny, allegedly slapped, hit, and covered a 10-month-old baby girl’s face at a Stewart Avenue residence. The woman was caught on camera on November 3... on nov. 3, PO Matos arrested a 71-year-old Garden City man for allegedly stealing a saw blade valued at $39.99 at Sears....
