Brian Thomson and Tara Keenan Mr. Jerome S. Keenan of White Plains, and Mrs. Maura Tishler of Point Lookout, NY, both formerly of Garden City, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Tara Rose Keenan to Brian Lindsay Thomson son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lindsay Thomson of Bethpage.

Tara is a 1994 graduate of Garden City High School and received both her Bachelor of Arts and Masters Degree from New York University achieving “founders scholar” distinction. She began her teaching career in 1998 at Garden City High School in the English Department and co-sponsored the Masquers program. Tara is currently living in Dublin, Ireland and holds dual American/Irish citizenship. She is pursuing a post graduate degree in Modern European History at Trinity College and expects to receive her PhD in the spring. She presently teaches at Trinity undergraduate program.

Brian received his Bachelor of Arts & Masters Degree from New York University graduating with “founders scholar” honors. He is completing his PhD at University College, Dublin where he currently teaches in their English Department.

A July 2005 wedding is planned in Ireland.
