Mrs. Lana Noone, of S. Kilburn Road, author of "Global Mom: Notes From a Pioneer Adoptive Family" (Gateway Press, 2003) presented a Vietnam "Operation Babylift" program at the Long Island Children's Museum on November 2, 2004.

She exhibited the Vietnam Babylift Quilt, original Babylift clothing, Vietnamese and Korean artifacts, and performed a Vietnamese lullaby, and a 1,000 year-old Korean folk song.

The program was very well received, and Mrs. Noone was delighted to share her international adoption story with the families who attended the event.
