Reverend Kalen Fristad, an ordained United Methodist Minister, will be the guest speaker at the Adult Forum of the Garden City Community Church this Sunday, November 14. After serving churches in Iowa for 27 years, in July 2003, he embarked on an independent ministry called “Destined for Salvation Ministries.” It consists of traveling around the country speaking to churches and other groups proclaiming the news of God’s unconditional love and unlimited salvation.

Kalen’s book. “Destined for Salvation: God’s Promise to Save Everyone,” will be available for purchase at the end of the Forum. The community is invited to attend the Forum which is held in the Parlor at 9:15 a.m.

Garden City Community Church is part of the United Church of Christ. Worship services are Sundays at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., with church school for children and a crib room for infants and toddlers at the later service.
