The GC Thunder coaches showed a lot of class when, at the post game handshake, they provided their players with Halloween goodie bags to distribute to the Elmont players.

The coaching staff took 24 individuals and molded them into a disciplined, spirited team. Every player made a commitment and contributed to a season that the word “perfect” does not fully describe. All the boys were given the opportunity to play multiple positions during the course of the season. The final result is a tribute to the hard work of coaches Halaby, Byrnes, Collins, Connors, Doland Gerspach that was emulated by all of the boys. Final Score: Garden City Thunder White 27 - Elmont 6.
