Girls Varsity Tennis Wins Nassau Division-III Title

On Tuesday, October 26, the Garden City High School girl’s varsity tennis team took five out of seven matches from Farmingdale and won the Nassau Division-III title. This capped off a tremendous year for the team, which ended up undefeated with a 16-0 record. The team will move up to Division-II next year. Congratulations to Coach Kelly Benito and the members of the team, led by co-captains Elena Apostolides and Melissa Barracar.
