Opening Day At Garden City Nursery School
Almost Full
Monday September 13, 2004 marked the opening day for the 2004-2005 school year at the Garden City Nursery. The only thing more beautiful than the picture perfect sunny day with blue skies above were the smiles on the faces of the eager and curious children embarking on a new frontier. The abbreviated schedule for the first week of school served to ease the students into their routine, giving them a taste of each of the activities that they will be enjoying over the upcoming school year.
As parents tried their best to blend into the background, the children became acquainted with the energetic teaching staff and their classmates. The sun drenched playground was the perfect setting to meet new friends and keep busy with a myriad of activities from the ever popular sandbox to the ample tricycles and of course the teacher powered swings.
You Go First
Thanks to the spectacular job of the parent volunteers under the supervision of the maintenance coordinators, the grounds and facilities are in wonderful shape and will prove to be an optimal setting for the top notch teaching staff to shape inquisitive young minds.
