Garden City High School Color Guard James McCrann, Coordinator of the Music Program for the Garden City Schools, promises an amazing half-time show for Homecoming, October 16, when the Trojans will challenge Lawrence High School.

The High School Marching Band, under the direction of Eric Mordhorst, will perform themes from the Disney Fantasmic Show. The Color Guard, Cheerleaders and Kickline have been practicing diligently for their special routines. The Middle School Band is very excited to be performing with the High School Band before and during the game.

The day begins at 9:30 a.m. with the 26th Annual Chamber of Commerce Street Fair. At 12:30 p.m. the High School Homecoming Parade leaves from Franklin Avenue and Seventh Street and will proceed to the High School. The Alumni Barbecue and reception get underway at 1 p.m. Kickoff time is 2 p.m. for the Garden City-Lawrence Football game.

Bring the family and friends to this great community day... it’s always a terrific time!
