TWIGS Junior volunteers are a fine example of kids helping kids through fund-raising events to purchase toys, games and videos for patients at the New Pediatric Inpatient Unit on Winthrop’s 5 th floor. The Junior Volunteers are co-chaired by Donna Ceriano and Josephine DeMoura. Kristen Sprotte originated the Garden City High School TWIGS Club and is currently president. Christine White is vice president.

The 2004 Golden Goose Gala raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the TWIGS’ table at $5 each or 6 for $25. The 30 th Annual Golden Goose Gala Candlelight House Tour will be held this year on Friday, November 19 th. Boutique Shopping will be at a new site, the St. Paul’s Field House, on Friday, November 19 th and Saturday, November 20 th.

Winthrop University Hospital’s Winnebago will be at the Fall Festival Street Fair offering free medical information and screenings. Do come out and show TWIGS your support while having a great community-spirited day!
