The PAVES Organization is asking for assistance from the business community and residents of Garden City. PAVES currently has more than 100 students registered and available for a wide spectrum of tasks including babysitting, office work, tutoring, pet care, assistance for the elderly, painting, party work, cleaning basements, etc. Members of the Garden City Community having a need for such work are encouraged to use PAVES, and organization dedicated to providing employment assistance for the youth of our Village.

The PAVES summer list is available through October 31, at which time the new winter list will be in force.

If you have a need for our service, please call PAVES at 248-0390. Leave your name and address and a brief description of the type of work you need performed. A copy of the current list will be mailed to you within 3 business days.

Children age 14 and above wishing to register with PAVES can pick up an application at the Garden City Library, the Recreation Department at Village Hall or the Guidance Office at the Middle School and the High School.
