Brigid Reina started off the pitching with Christine Pando catching and calling the game. The result: A quick first inning with two strike-outs and a ground-out. Brigid pitched three solid innings followed by Sammy Trapasso who pitched another two strong innings striking out two in the fifth inning. Samantha Mattone closed down the game in the 6th allowing no runs.

The All-Stars bats were alive with solid hitting by Michele Finneran, Julia Covell, Marissa Burdi, Shannon Mangini, Kelly Weis and Paige Plass, along with error-free fielding. A special contribution was made by Casey O’Hanlon who hit an in-the-park homerun. Keep it up, All-Stars!
