Mother Debra Low-Skinner blesses Sandy, accompanied by his master Joe Martin of Garden City, at the Blessing of the Animals at Christ Episcopal Church. Bring your puppy, bring your kitty, or your hamster or your bunny to Christ Church in Garden City on Sunday, October 3, at 9:15 a.m. Beloved pets and owners gather in the parking lot for a blessing by Mother Debra Low-Skinner in honor of St. Francis.

Although dogs are generally the animal most in evidence, all species are welcome. If you are unable to bring your pet, you may bring a picture instead. We could be lucky enough to hear a solo canine howl during the closing hymn.
