The Garden City girls capped an amazing indoor track season by taking home TWO National Championships at the Nike Indoor National Meet at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston. More ... The GCAA Intramural Basketball March Madness Playoffs started March 1st and concluded action on Championship Saturday with all GCAA older divisions playing their championship games at St. Paul’s on March 13th. The day started with 2 girls championship games (4-5 girls and 6-8 girls) at 11:00 and ended with the 5-6 boys game at 4:00. More ... The St Anne’s 6th grade boys CYO basketball team just completed a very successful season. The boys finished undefeated in the regular season of the very competitive B Division. The team then went on to defeat a tough St Aloysious team in the first round of the playoffs but then lost to St Elizabeth’s in the quarterfinals. More ... A soccer reffing course is being offered to students in 7th grade or up who are interested in becoming a Garden City Centennial Soccer referee. In order to become a referee for the upcoming spring season, you must attend both days of a two night course and pass a written test. The Lakers beat the Spurs 41-39 in a hotly contested game at St. Paul’s on Championship Saturday to claim the coveted 4th grade GCAA Intramural Boys Championship. The Spurs jumped out to a quick start led by the rebounding of Morgan LaFont and the aggressive defense of Liam Curtin. More ... The Garden City Men’s Association will be holding their annual NCAA Final Game party at the Uptown Grill on Monday, April 5th.
